Does it usually take awhile to be able to log in to your account when you change the user name? I'm so upset that it won't let me log in :( It also won't let me grab my old user name, it just says that it is unavailable. I will keep trying and HOPE that it just takes a bit for twitter to recognize!
.-= Henrietta´s last blog ..Twitter Woes =-.

Re: How to Change Your Twitter Username ID

Thanks for the tip! I grabbed the twitter name I wanted. Then I changed the new account name so I could go into my old account and grab it and it was unavailable to be accessed by my old account. When I went to switch it back and it was unavailable to the new account as well. So now the name I want is unaccessable alltogether. It has failed in the past. Changing to a name that was recently used used to give the "name unavailable" message. Tried it several times. So makes me concerned that this might not always work.

In other words, each name, once created, was unavailable to be used again, regardless of whether it became "available" by changing the name on the account it first existed on. So using a name then changing the name to something else made the original name unavailable.

Re: How to Change Your Twitter Username ID

Thanks a million for this post.
